Sunni Forcier was born in Beaumont Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Lamar University in 2015, and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Houston in 2019.
From an early age, Sunni dealt with unexpected circumstances that have caused her to realize the fragility of life. Her work explores themes of impermanence, time, and memory through the examination of personal histories. Sunni’s artistic approach incorporates a variety of photographic, printmaking, installation, and assemblage techniques.
